CAIRO, Feb 2 (MENA) - Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty lauded on Sunday close relations binding Egypt with Djibouti under the leadership of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and his Djiboutian counterpart Ismail Omar Guelleh.
At a joint press with his Djiboutian counterpart Mahamoud Ali Youssouf, the top diplomat said he held expanded talks with Youssouf that covered enhancing bilateral relations in all domains to better serve the peoples of the two brotherly nations.
He said he will pay a visit to Djibouti soon, accompanied by a delegation of businessmen to hold the joint business forum, adding that he encourages the private sector to develop cooperation with Djibouti and set up joint investments.
Boosting cooperation in the new and renewable energy domain figured high during the talks, Abdelatty said.
He referred to the Djiboutian minister's meeting with President Sisi earlier in the day, saying the meeting was friendly and reflected close relations binding the two countries. (MORE)
