CAIRO, Jan 31 (MENA) - Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty affirmed Egypt's unwavering support for Lebanon's institutions to enable them to play their assigned role.

Abdelatty's statements came during a session of talks with his Lebanese counterpart Abdulla Bouhabib in Beirut Friday.

The foreign minister reiterated Egypt's support for Lebanon to achieve stability and the importance of sticking to the ceasefire, halting hostilities, and the full withdrawal of Israeli troops from South Lebanon with the implementation of Security Council Resolution 1701.

Abdelatty expressed hope for boosting cooperation with Lebanon in all domains, including the sectors of electricity, infrastructure, and tourism. ( MENA)
