CAIRO, Feb 3 (MENA) - Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty said Egypt is keen on removing any obstacles to Arab Gulf investments.
Abdelatty made the comments during his meeting on Monday with Bahrain's Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa in Manama.
The foreign minister praised the brotherly ties between the two countries, expressing hope the Bahraini crown prince, who also serves as the Gulf nation's prime minister, to visit Egypt for exploring investment opportunities available in the country.
The top Egyptian diplomat underscored the importance of elevating bilateral relations in the economic, investment and trade fields, in a way that achieves the two countries' interests and satisfies their peoples' aspirations.
Abdelatty stated Egyptian companies can participate in infrastructure projects in Bahrain, reviewing the economic reforms introduced by the Egyptian government to improve the investment climate.
The meeting tackled a number of regional issues, notably the situation in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank. (MENA)
