CAIRO, Feb 3 (MENA) - Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty said the security of Gulf countries is an integral part of Egypt's national security.
Abdelatty made the remarks during his meeting on Monday with Bahrain's Foreign Minister Abdullatif bin Rashid Alzayani in Manama, according to an official statement.
The foreign minister stressed Egypt's keenness to enhance trade and investment relations with Bahrain, noting the Bahraini side can benefit from the online platform launched by the Labor Ministry to bring in skilled and trained Egyptian workers willing to work abroad according to the needs of the Bahraini market.
He also underlined the importance of strengthening cooperation among Arab states in the manufacturing field, highlighting Egypt's interest in supporting Arab industrial and economic integration initiatives, as well as enhancing its presence in the global clean energy market.
The two ministers exchanged views on a number of issues of mutual concern, notably the developments on implementing the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip and allowing the access of humanitarian aid into the Palestinian enclave, in addition to the latest updates on the situation in Syria. (MENA)
