CAIRO, Feb 1 (MENA) - Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty participated Saturday in a symposium titled: "A strategic vision for Egypt's foreign relations," held on the margins of the 56th edition of Cairo International Book Fair (CIBF), which runs from January 23 to February 6.
Abdelatty's participation is part of the ministry's cultural role in the global cultural event, which entails holding daily seminars on various issues related to Egypt's foreign policy.
A great host of intellectuals, diplomats, and fairgoers, especially young people, attended today's symposium.
Held this year under the theme "Read… In the Beginning Was the Word," the fair features a mix of local and international publishers presenting a wide array of books across various fields, including literature, history, self-development, and science.
As many as 80 Arab and foreign countries are taking part in this year's edition, with the Sultanate of Oman as the guest of honor. (MENA)
