CAIRO, Nov 22 (MENA) - Congo Brazzaville's President Denis Sassou Nguesso lauded the pivotal role played by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi in addressing several regional issues, notably the Libyan crisis.
In this regard, Nguesso highlighted the continued efforts made by Egypt and Congo Brazzaville to solve the Libyan crisis, expressing hope for finding solution to it as soon as possible.
Nguesso's remarks came during his meeting with Ambassador Eman Yaqout, who presented her credentials as Egyptian Ambassador to Congo Brazzaville.
Ambassador Yaqout said the Egyptian political leadership is interested in advancing ties with Congo Brazzaville, lauding the joint coordination between the two countries on regional issues of common concern and their desire to bring about peace and prosperity in Africa.
The Congolese president urged the new Egyptian ambassador to work on fostering well-established relations between Egypt and Congo Brazzaville. (MENA)
