CAIRO, April 5 (MENA) – Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty has praised historic and strong relations with Seychelles.
He received on Saturday Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Seychelles Sylvestre Radegonde to discuss means to strengthen cooperation between the two countries in different fields.
Abdelatty highlighted promising opportunities to boost economic and trade cooperation between both countries under their membership at the Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA).
Both ministers underlined the need to foster bilateral cooperation and share their experience in different domains, particularly investments in hotel and tourism sectors.
The ministers also discussed a number of regional issues in Africa as well as the repercussions of the latest developments on Gaza war.
They also signed a memorandum of understanding to simplify bilateral coordination and cooperation and serve the common interests of both countries. (MENA)
