CAIRO, April 5 (MENA) – Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates, Badr Abdelatty, held a phone call with his Turkish counterpart Hakan Fidan to discuss efforts to restore the ceasefire agreement in Gaza.

During the talks, the two ministers reviewed steps needed to implement the proposed three-phase agreement, which includes the release of hostages and detainees, and the entry of humanitarian, medical, and shelter aid into Gaza.

They also exchanged views on the crisis in Sudan.
Abdelatty reaffirmed Egypt’s support for Sudan’s national institutions and its commitment to the country’s sovereignty, unity, and territorial integrity.

The call also covered developments in the Horn of Africa and the Red Sea, including security in Somalia.
