CAIRO, Feb 24 (MENA) - President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi extended his congratulations on Monday to Friedrich Merz and the Christian Democratic Union (CDU)/Christian Social Union (CSU) coalition following their success in the federal elections in the Federal Republic of Germany.

President Sisi expressed his congratulations via his official social media page, saying: "I extend my sincere congratulations to Mr. Friedrich Merz and Merz's CDU/CSU coalition on their success in the federal elections in the Federal Republic of Germany. I wish him success in fulfilling the aspirations of the German people."

We look forward to working together to strengthen the strategic relations between Egypt and Germany for the benefit of our two nations, as well as for joint efforts to promote regional peace and stability during this critical time, he added. (MENA)
