CAIRO, Feb 12 (MENA) - Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigration Badr Abdelatty asserted the depth of historic ties between Egypt and Côte d'Ivoire.
He pointed out to Egypt's keenness on boosting cooperation in the different sectors especially the domains of trade, investment, infrastructure, health and building capabilities.
This came on Wednesday during Abdelatty's meeting with Côte d'Ivoire Foreign Minister Léon Adom on the sidelines of the meetings of the 46th round of the Executive Council of the African Union in Addis Ababa.
Abdelatty asserted the importance of activating bilateral agreements and working on discovering new cooperation horizons.
For his part, Adom lauded the distinguished relations between both countries, praising the pioneering role played by Egypt in supporting development and stability in Africa.
Côte d'Ivoire is looking forward to boosting economic and investment cooperation with Egypt and exchanging the Egyptian expertise in the different domains.
Both sides discussed boosting cooperation inside the African Union and the importance of coordination of stances and exchanging support in the regional and international gatherings for the interests of both countries.
Both ministers agreed on consultation and coordination to promote bilateral ties and support the joint African priorities to achieve development and stability in the continent. (MENA)
