CAIRO, Jan 25 (MENA) - Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Zambia Mulambo Haimbe emphasized on Saturday the special nature of relations between his country and Egypt.
He expressed Zambia's appreciation for the support Egypt provides in various fields, with particular focus on capacity building, agriculture, irrigation, water resources management, energy, renewed energy, healthcare, and pharmaceutical domains.
The minister made his remarks during his meeting with the Egyptian Ambassador to Zambia Mayada Essam, where they tackled historic, deeply rooted relations.
For her part, the Egyptian ambassador underscored the importance that Egypt places on strengthening bilateral relations on the political and economic fronts in a manner that aligns with the two countries' capabilities and meets Zambia's aspirations for benefitting from Egypt's extensive expertise across various areas.
