CAIRO, Jan 18 (MENA) - Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty chaired a meeting on Saturday to follow up the implementation of the National Human Rights Strategy (NHRS).
The meeting also tackled preparations for the UN Human Rights Council's Universal Periodic Review session on the human rights situation in Egypt, set for January 28 in Geneva.
Minister of Parliamentary and Legal Affairs and Political Communication Mahmoud Fawzi, Chairman of the State Information Service (SIS) Diaa Rashwan, and heads of the National Council for Women (NCW), the National Council for Childhood & Motherhood (NCCM), the National Council for Persons with Disabilities (NCPD), and the National Coordinating Committee for Combating and Preventing Illegal Migration and Trafficking in Persons (NCCPIM&TIP) were prominent among those who attended the participated in the meeting.
