NEW ADMINISTRATIVE CAPITAL, Nov 27 (MENA) – Qatari Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohamed bin Abdel Rahman al-Thani said Wednesday that he is looking forward to taking part in a humanitarian conference to support Gaza, slated for December 2 in Egypt.
Speaking in a joint press conference with Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty, Sheikh Mohamed said his meetings in Egypt took up bilateral relations and economic cooperation.
He told reporters he had talks with Egyptian officials that focused on Qatari investments in Egypt.
Sheikh Mohamed said he also discussed ways to strengthen cooperation in humanitarian fields, especially in light of the deteriorating conditions in Gaza and Sudan.
An agreement was reached with Egypt on joint projects to provide humanitarian support for Arab brethren, the Qatari foreign minister said. (MORE)
