CAIRO, Nov 22 (MENA) - Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty delivered a message from President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to his counterpart DR Congolese Félix Tshisekedi during his visit to Kinshasa Friday.

The message asserted Egypt's commitment to strong bilateral relations with the DRC, emphasizing the longstanding historic ties between the two nations and their leaderships.

Sisi extended an invitation for Tshisekedi to visit Cairo in the near future.

Abdelatty highlighted Sisi's directives to elevate bilateral relations to new heights, aiming to deepen the distinguished partnership further and enhance mutual political, economic, commercial, and water-related interests.

The minister reaffirmed Egypt's full support for ongoing development projects in the DRC, particularly in sectors such as energy, agriculture, irrigation, transportation, infrastructure, and pharmaceuticals.

Tshisekedi expressed his deep appreciation for the historic bilateral ties and his strong fraternal relationship with Sisi.

He welcomed the invitation to visit Egypt at the earliest opportunity.

Tshisekedi emphasized Egypt's role as a brotherly nation and his commitment to advancing and expanding bilateral relations across various fields, including trade, investment, and development.
