CAIRO, April 17 (MENA) - The cabinet discussed during its weekly meeting on Thursday, chaired by Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli, the settlement of cotton farmers' dues.

In this regard, the Finance Ministry pledged it will pay three billion Egyptian pounds next week to resolve the issue of delayed payments to cotton farmers.

The cabinet asserted the state's utmost keenness on further supporting the Egyptian farmers and offering more facilitations and incentives to enable the planters to play their vital role and scale up the production of different strategic crops. (MENA)
