CAIRO, March 5 (MENA) - The Cabinet praised during its weekly meeting on Wednesday the outcome of Tuesday's extraordinary Arab summit in Cairo which affirmed that just and comprehensive peace is the strategic option of the Arab nation.
During the meeting, held under Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli, the cabinet welcomed Egypt's plan on the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip.
It said the summit witnessed intensive discussions among Arab leaders on supporting the Palestinian cause and rejecting the displacement of the Palestinians, pointing out that the Arab position remained firm on the importance of establishing a Palestinian state on the June 1967 borders.
The cabinet also welcomed the summit statement which reaffirmed the presence of full coordination between Egypt and other Arab countries including Palestine.
On local issues, the prime minister praised President Abdel Fatah El Sisi's decision on setting July 3 as a date for the inauguration of the Grand Egyptian Museum.
He added the cabinet is working on implementing the president's directives on offering facilitations to investors to lure more foreign investments. (MENA)
