CAIRO, June 14 (MENA) – Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty held separate phone calls with his Italian and Spanish counterparts, Antonio Tajani and José Manuel Albares respectively, to discuss the rising tensions following recent Israeli strikes on Iranian territory.
Abdelatty warned that continued escalation threatens regional stability and called for immediate efforts to de-escalate the situation.
He reaffirmed Egypt’s position against any violation of sovereignty, highlighting the importance of avoiding the expansion of violence in the region.
The ministers agreed to coordinate efforts aimed at restoring calm and preventing further instability. (MENA)
