CAIRO, June 13 (MENA) – Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty had made phone calls with his Saudi and Jordanian counterparts Faisal Ben Farhan and Ayman Al Safadi, respectively, and Hussein al-Sheikh, the Vice President of Palestine, to follow up on the latest developments after Israeli strikes on Iran.

The calls are part of the minister’s efforts to follow up on the regional repercussions of Israel’s unacceptable escalation and unjustified attacks on Iran and their negative impacts on the security and stability of the region.

They discussed visions of the regional situation following the Israeli attacks and their negative effects on the Palestinian cause, underlining the need to de-escalate the situation and defuse tension and find political solutions for crises.

They agreed on maintaining joint coordination to follow up on the latest developments on this score. (MENA)
