CAIRO, June 14 (MENA) - Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigration Badr Abdelatty had two separate phone calls with Omani Minister of Foreign Affairs Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi and Turkish Minister of Foreign Affairs Hakan Fidan to follow up the latest developments in the region.

This fell within the framework of following up the latest developments in the region.

The foreign ministers reviewed the alarming regional situation and its repercussions on regional security and stability.

They highlighted the urgent need for mobilizing regional and international efforts to de-escalate tension and contain the current regional escalation, taking into consideration the dangerous repercussions of the current situation.

They asserted the importance of respecting international law, the the United Nations Charter, and the sovereignty and territorial integrity of all states.

They accentuated that military solutions are not viable, and that diplomatic and political efforts are the only effective path to avoid more instability in the region. (MENA)
