CAIRO, June 14 (MENA) – Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty had a busy agenda throughout the past week, including several meetings within the framework of Egypt's diplomatic efforts at all levels.
The Foreign Ministry on Saturday published an infographic highlighting Abdelatty's activities during the past week that included phone calls with his counterparts from Rwanda, Nigeria, Cyprus and Turkey.
Abdelatty met with a group of university students in the UK and held a meeting to follow up on the ministry’s efforts to sponsor Egyptian expats.
During a visit to Oslo, Abdelatty held talks with the Saudi foreign minister and participated in a trilateral meeting with the foreign ministers of Iran and Oman.
He also conferred with the Somali national security advisor, the foreign ministers of Syria and Norway as well as and CEO of the Norwegian energy company Scatec.
Abdelatty had phone calls with the US special presidential envoy for the Middle East and the foreign ministers of Qatar and Iran.
He also received calls from the foreign ministers of France, Greece, Cyprus, and Iraq. The phone calls discussed shared concerns and ways of reinforcing bilateral and regional cooperation. (MENA)
