CAIRO, May 12 (MENA) - Egypt has condemned an attack that targeted a unit of Ecuador's army, killing and injuring a number of soldiers.

In a statement released by the foreign ministry on Monday, Egypt expressed sincere condolences and sympathy to the Ecuadorian government and people, as well as to the victims' families, wishing a speedy recovery for the wounded. (MENA)
