CAIRO, May 12 (MENA) - Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty stressed that his ministry attaches special importance to cultural diplomacy as one of Egypt's soft power tools, highlighting its significant contribution to bringing countries and peoples closer together.

During a meeting with Minister of Culture Ahmed Fouad Hanno Monday, the top diplomat praised ongoing cooperation with the Ministry of Culture and the various cultural bodies and institutions to build bridges of communication and friendship between Egypt and the world.

The two ministers discussed ways to enhance the various Egyptian cultural activities abroad and promote them through Egyptian embassies and consulates.

Talks also took up ways of intensifying Egyptian participation in international cultural events to enhance Egypt's international standing and shed light on the unique Egyptian civilization and culture. (MENA)
