CAIRO, April 9 (MENA) - Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty appreciated on Wednesday Europe's continued support to Egypt's efforts aimed at establishing projects tackling the issue of illegal migration.

His statements came during a meeting with Magnus Brunner, the European Commissioner responsible for internal affairs and migration, on the sidelines of the Second Ministerial Meeting of the Khartoum Process, hosted by Cairo on Wednesday. The foreign minister reaffirmed Egypt's commitment to combatting illegal migration in line with international laws.

He hailed cooperation between Egypt and the European Union, pointing out that Cairo adopts a new comprehensive strategy on combating illegal migration and supporting development and skill transfer, taking into consideration labor markets and the specialties they need. (MENA)
