CAIRO, April 17 (MENA) – Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates, Badr Abdelatty, affirmed the importance of implementing the joint vision of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune to boost economic and investment cooperation.
During his visit to Algiers, Abdelatty met with Algerian Minister of Energy and Mines Mohamed Arkab to discuss collaboration in energy, construction, and infrastructure. He said that many Egyptian companies are ready to participate in major development projects in Algeria.
The two ministers reviewed investment opportunities and discussed completing bilateral initiatives in various sectors.
Abdelatty also welcomed holding the second session of the Egypt-Algeria Joint Business Council to expand ties between the private sectors.
The visit concluded with the signing of a memorandum of understanding between Algeria’s Sonelgaz and Egypt’s El Sewedy Electric to support electricity development projects. (MENA)
