CAIRO, April 5 (MENA) – President Abdel Fattah El Sisi received a phone call from French President Emmanuel Macron.

The two leaders discussed bilateral cooperation ahead of Macron’s upcoming visit to Egypt, including the possibility of holding a trilateral summit in Cairo with Jordan.

They also addressed the situation in Gaza, reaffirming the need for an immediate ceasefire and the urgent delivery of humanitarian aid.

Both presidents stressed the importance of the two-state solution as the only path to lasting peace in the region. (MENA)
