CAIRO, March 20 (MENA) - Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty discussed over phone on Thursday with his Qatari counterpart Sheikh Mohamed Abdelrahaman Al Thani efforts aimed at maintaining the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and means to ensure the implementation of its three phases.

Foreign ministry spokesman Tamim Khallaf said the two top dipomats exchanged viewpoints on supporting the Arab-Islamic plan on the reconstruction of Gaza and efforts to drup up support for it, in addition to coordination for preperations for the Cairo international conference on the reconstruction of the Palestinian enclave.

They stressed the importance of joint coordination to contain tensions in the region to reach a settlement leading to regional stability and the establishment of a Palestinian state. (MENA)
