CAIRO, March 9 (MENA) - Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly discussed with Governor of the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) Hassan Abdallah on Sunday a number of issues and updates regarding dollar inflows from various sources.

Cabinet spokesman Mohamed el Homosani said that they followed up on the latest developments regarding dollar inflows, reaffirming that the country's foreign currency reserves are at very reassuring levels.

He added that the meeting confirmed that ensuring an adequate supply of dollar resources has had a positive impact on securing the availability of various essential goods for citizens, while simultaneously providing production needs for factories.

He further said that the meeting underscored the continued efforts to increase dollar revenues and maintain coordination between the government and CBE to ensure a flexible and unified exchange rate for foreign currency.

Madbouly praised efforts exerted by CBE during the past period and the ongoing coordination regarding the management of dollar requirements to ensure a comfortable stock of various goods, petroleum products, and factory production supplies.
