CAIRO, Jan 23 (MENA) - Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigration Badr Abdelatty lauded relations with Kazakhstan, stressing Egypt’s hope to develop various fields of bilateral cooperation in light of the shared historical bonds.

This came during a phone call he had with his Kazakh counterpart Murat Nurtleu.

Abdelatty highlighted the priority that Egypt attaches to promoting economic and trade cooperation with Kazakhstan, and benefiting from the promising potential of the Egyptian and Kazakh economies to enhance cooperation in many fields, including agriculture, pharmaceutical industries, tourism, infrastructure, textile industries, furniture and building materials.

The top diplomat expressed the Egyptian side’s aspiration to hold the sixth session of the Joint Governmental Committee, in order to boost investments and trade exchange.

There are promising and multiple prospects for cooperation between the two sides that must be exploited, he pointed out. (MENA)
