CAIRO, Nov 24 (MENA) – Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty currently visiting Kuwait, met Sunday with Kuwaiti Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled al-Hamad al-Mubarak al-Sabah.

Abdelatty started off his visit with talks with Sheikh Sabah on means of boosting bilateral relations. He hailed as “historical” ties between Egypt and Kuwait, and underscored a political will by leaders of both countries to further build on their good relationship, said Foreign Ministry spokesman Tamim Khallaf.

Abdelatty conveyed President Abdel Fattah El Sisi’s best regards to the Kuwaiti emir and crown prince, Khallaf added.

The top diplomat also told Sheikh Sabah that Egypt is looking forward to promoting economic and investment cooperation with Kuwait, pointing to ambitious steps taken by Cairo to lure more businesses and implement a reform plan, Khallaf noted.

The spokesman said that Abdelatty reiterated Egypt’s full support for Gulf security, which is an integral part of Egyptian national security. (MENA)
