CAIRO, Nov 22 (MENA) - Egyptian ambassador in Berlin Mohamed Abdel Sattar el Badri said the Egypt's leadership looks forward to consolidate distinguished ties with Germany that extended for more than 70 years and witnessed continuous growth and development, particularly in the economic, investment, technological and culture domains.

This came during the ceremony of the presentation of the letters of credence by ambassador Badri to German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier.

During their meeting, Ambassador Badri conveyed President Abdel Fattah El Sisi's greetings to the German president, expressing President Sisi's appreciation of the strong ties binding the two countries' leaderships.

For his part, the German president asked the Egyptian diplomat to convey his greetings to President Sisi and wished him success in performing his duties.

He stressed his country's appreciation for ties with Egypt as it is one of the most important countries in the region. (MENA)
