CAIRO, Nov 21 (MENA) - Arab Parliament Speaker Mohamed Al Yamahi lauded tireless efforts by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to boost joint Arab action at all levels and defend Arab issues, saying Egypt, under the leadership of President Sisi, stands against Israeli schemes to liquidate the Palestinian issue.

Al Yamahi gave the remarks during a meeting with House of Representatives Speaker Hanafi el Gebali at the parliament headquarters in the New Administrative Capital.

The meeting tackled enhancing parliamentary cooperation and coordinating efforts to serve Arab issues at different international and regional parliamentary forums.

He reiterated the Arab parliament's keenness to foster cooperation with the Egyptian parliament in the coming period to serve parliamentary action.

Gebali congratulated Al Yamahi for his election as the pan-Arab legislature speaker, wishing him success in his mission to serve joint Arab action in the parliamentary domain. (MENA)
