CAIRO, Nov 15 (MENA) - Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty and Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov stressed the need to continue joint coordination, especially in light of the directives of the two countries' leaderships in this regard.
The two ministers held a meeting Friday on the sidelines of their participation in the 15th Sir Bani Yas Forum in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), according to a press release.
Abdelatty and Lavrov tackled the progress made in implementing a number of key economic projects between the two countries.
The pair exchanged views on a number of regional and international issues, notably the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip and Lebanon, where they agreed on the necessity of reaching an immediate ceasefire and allowing unconditional access of humanitarian aid to the Palestinian enclave. (MENA)
