CAIRO, April 23 (MENA) - Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli mourned Pope Francis, Pope of the Vatican and leader of the Catholic Church, who died on Monday after a long journey of giving for humanity.
Madbouli praised the pope's noble legacy and said he was exerting strenuous efforts to support interfaith dialogue and tolerance.
The premier was chairing the government's weekly meeting in the New Administrative Capital (NAC) on Wednesday to discuss a number of topics and files.
On behalf of the cabinet, Madbouli offered his heartfelt condolences to the State of the Vatican, followers of Pope Francis worldwide and the family of the pope.
Meanwhile, the premier greeted President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, Armed Forces personnel and the Egyptian people on the 43rd anniversary of Sinai Liberation.
Madbouli wished Egypt more progress and prosperity, praying to Allah to bring back the occasion with more peace and security to Egypt.
Additionally, he pointed out to a recent meeting held and attended by the president of the republic to review efforts of the government to set the stage for luring more business and attracting further local and foreign investments.
He added the government will act to implement all directives of president Sisi to provide a competitive investment environment through facilitating and simplifying measures for investors.
Moreover, Madbouli talked about his field tour of a number of factories in 10th of Ramadan City and asserted his utmost keenness on embarking on such tours to learn more about challenges facing the investors on the ground. (MENA)
