ABUJA, April 15 (MENA) - Nigeria's National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with SecDojo, a France-based cybersecurity training and upskilling firm to build cybersecurity resilience.
NITDA's Director-General Malam Kashifu Inuwa signed the MoU with Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at SecDojo Younes Benzagmout at the Gulf International Technology and Exhibition (GITEX) Africa, currently held in the Moroccan city of Marrakech, NITDA's Head of Corporate Affairs and External Relations Hadiza Umar said in a statement on Tuesday.
According to the News Agency of Nigeria, Umar stated that the MoU was focused on continued efforts to strengthen national security, which would build digital trust and safeguard the nation’s digital infrastructure.
She said it would also strengthen national resilience against cyber threats through targeted capacity building initiatives. (MENA)
