NEW ALAMEIN, Egypt, April 12 (MENA) – Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli toured the Heritage City in New Alamein on Saturday as part of his visit to review ongoing projects.
During his tour, the Premier said that the Heritage City serves as a comprehensive destination for cultural, artistic, and entertainment events, adding a major tourism component to New Alamein.
The 260-feddan site includes a Roman theater, central lake, cinemas, mosque, church, hotels, restaurants, and luxury housing.
Several facilities are operational, including the Roman theater, mosque, church, and parts of the cinema complex.
Some commercial spaces have been sold to investors, and international firms have been contracted to manage serviced apartments.
The Prime Minister followed up on the final works at the conference center and surrounding landscaping, calling for high maintenance standards and the creation of pedestrian pathways to improve the visitor experience. (MENA)
