CAIRO, March 28 (MENA) - Foreign Affairs and Emigration Minister Badr Abdelatty asserted Egypt's support for the Sudanese national institutions and efforts to restore stability and peace in Sudan, expressing Egypt's firm position calling for respecting the sovereignty, unity and territorial integrity of Sudan.

The minister's remarks were made during his meeting with Sudanese Foreign Minister Ali Youssif, Spokesman for the Foreign Ministry Tamim Khallaf said on Friday.

During their meeting, the two ministers discussed bilateral ties and the latest developments in Sudan.

Abdelatty also expressed Egypt's full solidarity with Sudan, in light of the historical ties between the two countries and their peoples.

The Sudanese minister also briefed Abdelatty on the latest developments in Sudan, particularly in Khartoum and the Sudanese army’s announcement of its liberation.

They also discussed efforts to back Sudan at the regional and international levels. (MENA)
