CAIRO, March 14 (MENA) - Egypt's Ambassador to Mexico Amr Abdel Warith has discussed in a meeting with Cristal Pelayo, the director general of the international affairs unit and parliamentary relations of the Mexican Chamber of Deputies, ways of fostering parliamentary, cultural and economic cooperation between the two countries.
The two sides probed the possibility of arranging mutual visits for parliamentary delegations and enhancing coordination between the two nations' parliamentary committees, as well as increasing business collaboration in the fields of environmental technology, tourism, and information technology, according to a statement released by the Foreign Ministry on Friday.
The Egyptian ambassador expressed Egypt's appreciation of the Mexican parliament's keenness to promote bilateral relations, expressing hope to advance the implementation of ambitious initiatives aimed at strengthening joint cooperation. (MENA)
