For his part, Mustafa lauded his fruitful meetings with Abdelatty and Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli as they discussed preparations for holding the emergency Arab summit.

Mustafa extended thanks to Egypt over hosting this summit, backing all Arab issues, supporting Palestinians in the Gaza Strip and providing humanitarian relief aid.

The talks focused on future plans on Gaza reconstruction, Mustafa said, thanking President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, Madbouli and Abdelatty for their efforts on the reconstruction issue.

The talks also tackled issues related to the government and the rule in Gaza, the Palestinian premier and top diplomat said, voicing hope that the Arab summit could reach firm and significant decisions that would affirm the need to establish an independent and viable Palestinian state. (MENA)
