Abdelatty said that talks with Sudanese Foreign Minister Ali Youssef Al-Sharif covered Sudan’s crisis, regional security, and key Middle East issues.
He made it clear that the Red Sea's security is an exclusive matter for its coastal states, stating that no non-coastal country should be involved in its governance.

He also informed his Sudanese counterpart about Egypt’s reconstruction plan for Gaza and expected outcomes from the upcoming Arab emergency summit in Cairo.
Regarding Lebanon, both sides agreed that Israel must fully withdraw from South Lebanon, stressing the importance of implementing UN Resolution 1701 and ensuring the Lebanese national army’s full deployment across the country.
On Syria, Abdelatty reaffirmed Egypt’s stance on preserving Syria’s territorial unity, supporting a comprehensive political process, and countering terrorism.
The meeting also touched on Yemen’s crisis and regional security concerns, with both ministers agreeing on the need for stability and cooperation in addressing ongoing conflicts.
