CAIRO, Feb 11 (MENA) – Egypt announced on Tuesday plans to present a comprehensive vision for rebuilding Gaza while ensuring Palestinians remain on their land.

In a statement on Tuesday, the Foreign Ministry reaffirmed Egypt’s commitment to working with the US administration under President Donald Trump to achieve a just and lasting peace in the region by reaching a just settlement to the Palestinian issue that upholds the rights of all people in the region.

Egypt stressed that any solution to the Palestinian issue must take into consideration the need to safeguard the region’s peace achievements while simultaneously addressing the root causes of the conflict by ending the Israeli occupation of Palestinian territories and implementing the two-state solution as the only path to stability and coexistence in the region.
