CAIRO, Feb 7 (MENA) - President of Honduras Xiomara Castro lauded Egypt's pioneering role, under the leadership of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, at the regional and international levels.

The president's remarks came during a meeting with Egyptian Ambassador Hatem Hasouba, who delivered to her his credentials as Egypt’s non-resident ambassador to Honduras.

During the meeting, the diplomat conveyed President Sisi's greetings to President Castro, who expressed her country's keenness on expanding horizons of cooperation with Egypt in various domains, with a special focus on beefing up investments and the volume of trade exchange, and exploring cooperation opportunities in the cultural and educational areas.

President Castro also stressed the importance of continuing mutual coordination and support between the two countries as for nominations for key positions in international organizations and bodies. (MENA)
