CAIRO, Dec 26 (MENA) – Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty reiterated Egypt's strong commitment to enhancing collaboration with the Community of Sahel-Saharan States (CEN-SAD) during a meeting with its Executive Secretary Ado Al-Hajji Abu in N'Djamena, Chad.
The talks focused on uniting efforts to address critical regional challenges, including combating terrorism, curbing illegal migration, and bolstering security capacities among the member states.
Abdelatty emphasized the pivotal role of the Cairo-based Sahel-Saharan Counter-Terrorism Center in building collective resilience against shared threats.
He also highlighted Egypt’s dedication to youth training programs and fighting extremist ideologies, reaffirming its readiness to provide technical and logistical support to CEN-SAD. (MENA)
