CAIRO, July 14 (MENA) - Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli issued a decree renewing the membership of some prominent figures in culture, arts, and literature in the Supreme Council for Culture for a two-year term and appointing new members.
The list of members included Prof. Ahmed Abdullah Zayed, Prof. Ahmed Abdel Moaty Hegazy, Prof. Niveen El Kilani, Prof. Doria Sharaf El Din, Prof. Dalila El Kerdani, Prof. Rajeh Dawoud, Prof. Sayed Awad El Tuni, Prof. Ali Eldin Helal, Prof. Mohamed Salmanawy, Prof. Mohamed Saber Arab, Prof. Youssef El Kaid, and Ambassador Moushira Khattab, among others.
In a statement on Monday, Minister of Culture Ahmed Fouad Hanno welcomed the new members, noting that the Council, a leading intellectual platform that helps shape Egypt's cultural policy, reflects the state's commitment to consolidating Egyptian cultural identity and promoting the values of diversity and pluralism.
