CAIRO, May 4 (MENA) - President Abdel Fattah El Sisi received at Ittihadia Palace on Sunday President of Comoros Azali Assoumani.

The two leaders discussed means to enhance bilateral cooperation and consult on regional and continental issues of mutual interest.

Presidential Spokesman Ambassador Mohamed el Shenawy stated that the two presidents held an in-camera meeting, followed by an expanded session with the participation of both countries’ delegations, during which they explored ways to boost bilateral cooperation and exchanged views on regional and continental issues of shared concern.

The spokesman added that both sides witnessed the signing of a number of agreements and memorandums of understanding between the two countries, before holding a joint press conference. (MENA)
