CAIRO, April 22 (MENA) – Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Badr Abdelatty expressed appreciation for the close cooperation between the Foreign Ministry and Parliament, which he described as vital to protecting national interests and supporting Egyptians at home and abroad.
During a meeting with Senate Speaker Abdel Wahab Abdel Razek, attended by Minister of Parliamentary Affairs Mahmoud Fawzy and MP Tarek Radwan, head of the House Human Rights Committee, Abdelatty said the ministry is committed to engaging regularly with parliamentary bodies.
He reviewed the ministry’s foreign policy priorities and consular work, particularly in supporting Egyptian nationals abroad.
Abdelatty praised the role of human rights committees in both houses for strengthening the legislative framework related to civil rights and freedoms. (MENA)
