CAIRO, April 21 (MENA) - During a meeting in Riyadh with Saudi Energy Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Expatriates Badr Abdelatty expressed eagerness to expand strategic partnerships with Saudi Arabia in the oil and energy sectors, leveraging Egypt's strategic location and resources.

Abdelatty welcomed further development of bilateral energy projects, highlighting the Egypt-Saudi Arabia electrical interconnection project as a model for broader Arab electrical integration.

He emphasized Egypt's prioritization of the green hydrogen industry through its "National Strategy for Low-Carbon Hydrogen" and expressed readiness to partner with Saudi Arabia in renewable energy projects.

He also stressed the importance of industrial and technological localization, particularly in the renewable energy, food security, and automobile industries, noting Egypt's investment incentives and urging for enhanced cooperation in the mining sector. (MENA)
