CAIRO, March 29 (MENA) - Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty and his Kuwaiti counterpart Abdullah Al-Yahya reviewed during a phone call on Saturday ways to promote bilateral relations to serve the common interests of both countries.
During their phone conversation, top Egyptian diplomat hailed the booming relations and robust bonds between the sisterly Arab nations, expressing an interest in furthering mutual cooperation in pursuance of the directives of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Meshal Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah.
Sharing their views on the current situation in the embattled Gaza Strip, the ministers discussed how to mobilize global support for the Arab-Islamic plan for early recovery and reconstruction of Gaza, adopted during an Arab summit Cairo hosted earlier this month.
They also discussed mutual coordination in preparation for an international conference for the post-war reconstruction of Gaza, expected in Cairo next month.
The two sides also touched on a raft of regional issues of mutual concern. (MENA)
