CAIRO, March 29 (MENA) - President Abdel Fattah El Sisi received Eid al-Fitr greetings during a a phone call he received Saturday from Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
Presidency spokesman Mohamed El-Shennawy, said that the Pakistani premier extended heartfelt Eid greetings to President Sisi and the Egyptian people, asking Allah for continued blessings and prosperity for both nations and the entire Muslim world.
In turn, President Sisi expressed his gratitude for the kind gesture, greeting Sharif and the brotherly people of Pakistan on the occasion, and wishing both countries everlasting peace and stability.
During the call, Sharif praised Egypt’s remarkable success in eradicating Hepatitis C, expressing Pakistan’s interest in benefiting from this outstanding Egyptian experience, Shennawy said, adding that both sides agreed to initiate collaborative efforts in this regard.
