CAIRO, March 31 (MENA) - In a deeply humanitarian gesture that reflects President Abdel Fattah El Sisi's profound appreciation for the families of fallen heroes and the injured, he took the time to personally meet with the daughter and widow of martyr Sergeant Ahmed Habib Ali.

This occurred during his participation in Eid al-Fitr celebrations Monday at the Manara Center and came in response to a request made by the martyr’s daughter, who expressed her desire to meet him.

The meeting was captured in a video broadcast by the Armed Forces' Moral Affairs Department, which also featured the presentation of a gift to the martyr’s family in celebration of the Eid, alongside other families of fallen heroes and the injured.

President Sisi was determined to honor the wish of the martyr’s daughter, greeting her with a handshake, embracing her, and telling her how he strongly admires the ultimate heroic sacrifice made by her father, who gave his life in defense of Egypt’s security.

The young girl, speaking from the heart with pure innocence, expressed her pride in her father, saying, "My dad died because he was a hero and defended Egypt." She also voiced her sincere gratitude to the president for graciously responding to her wish to meet him.

The sergeant’s widow expressed her thanks to the president for fulfilling her daughter’s wish and for the unwavering support provided by the state, especially the Armed Forces, to the families of martyrs and the injured.
