CAIRO, March 19 (MENA) - Egypt condemned on Wednesday Israel's raids on Syrian lands, considering this as a dangerous escalation and flagrant violation of the Syrian sovereignty and its unity of lands.
In a statement on Wednesday by the Egyptian Foreign Ministry, Egypt considered the Israeli raids on Syria as part of of Israel's fait accompli policy.
The statement reflects Israel's insistence on simmering tension in the region.
Egypt urged international players and the United Nations Security Council to shoulder their responsibility in the face of the repeated Israeli violations.
Egypt called for putting an end to the irresponsible Israeli policies and prodding Israel into ending its occupation of the Syrian lands and abiding by international law. (MENA)
